Will you Please email me a diagnosis of what this is

Our Black cat Timone (10 yrs Old) has lost a lot of weight recently, urine is yellow in color, drinks LOTS of water, still has his appetite, and has lost his hair on his ears. I was a Cat Coordinator in Colorado Springs, Coloraddo, and have looked through all my books for what could be causing these symptoms, but am having trouble finding an answer. PLEASE HELP!

One of my cats is black and 13 years old, he had similar issues. Now he has a daily medication for hyperthyroidism. Please read this page: Feline Hyperthyroidism

I suspect that this is the condition that your cat has also. Hope this helps.
