What is wrong with my cat?

My cat is acting very strangely, she will jump up out of nowhere then start panting hardly as she runs back and forth and all around, she has never acted in this manner, nor has she ever really played with the other cats so it's very concerning. She does drool if that means anything, just a little every now and then, then quite a bit while this is going on.

Sorry for the late response, was gone for a few weeks.

You didn't say how old your cat was but if it is a fairly young cat, she could be entering a "heat" cycle. Or, she could be having some distress and is exhibiting this behavior to call attention to it. It is very puzzling, and I would suggest that you take her to a vet if this continues.

The actions you describe don't point to any one particular clue to the problem so you should seek professional help. Sorry I couldn't help you more.
