Colony of feral cats happily living in my back yard. 6 indoor cats.
I use revolution spot on for all indoor cats. I try and use revo on as many outdoor cats as I can do monthly. As we practice TNR there are at least 10 permanent ferals that inhabit the garden . I have two with severe FAD. In the past I have called in a fumigator twice a year who would spray the garden, lately it's become dangerous for the cats who don't disperse long enough and are exposed to the permethrin or pyrethrin which is the licensed fumigant.
What can I use outdoirs instead and what concentrations ?
Thank you so much for your wonderful website.
RESPONSE:
I am not well versed in the many fumigants that are available currently. I have always just removed my cats to a safe area when there were dangers.
Since you are dealing with ferals, I would suggest that you talk to the person performing the service for you and see if they have alternative solutions. Some companies offer other solutions when requested to.
