Hi, maybe you can help us. We are living in Maldives, far away from a Vet (earliest to see him in a 2-3 weeks).
Around 2 months back we found two tiny kittens at the side of the road, dehydrated and full of flees. They are wonderfull boys, one growing more then the other. Two days back I saw that the little once pupils turned milky and today from the bigger one as well :-(
I don't know what to do now, I am so worried both might turn blind or even lose their eyes. Both are treatened for ringworms since two months, was better some time but still not full recovered.
Any advice what we can do?
RESPONSE:
Sorry I took so long to answer you but I was having medical problems myself. Unfortunately, this sounds like FIP, feline infectious peritonitis. Here is the link to the article that best describes what this is.
Feline Infectious Peritonitis
The clouding of the eyes could be something else but until you can get to a vet, this is my guess because the clouding of the eyes is a symptom. I hope very much that I am wrong so as soon as you can get to a vet, please do so.
I wish you luck and its wonderful that you're trying to provide a home for these little strays.
