My oldest cat Tiger age 16 recently passed away and ever since then my middle cat Kota has started nesting in the litter box . This is causing problems with my other cat Scotty . He has started pooping on the chest of drawers and by the bedroom door. I've tried putting another litter box in there but he wont use it. What can I do? This has been going on for over a week. HELP

I apologize for getting back to you so late. I was out of town and didn't have internet access.
What you are going through is not easy. Since it has lasted over a week, I suggest you get your vet involved with anti-depressants for a short period of time. It sounds like Kota, the cat that is nesting needs help. The other cat Scotty is also reacting to their mutual loss but in a different manner. Kota has the litter box and somehow makes a connection with the cat that is gone in that location, so Scotty is confused and doing his "business" elsewhere. No doubt he is also feeling this loss and seeks extra attention.
You could try putting a second litter box alongside the existing one but your cats are taking the loss exceptionally hard which leads me to believe temporary medications are needed. To give you an idea what I'm talking about take a look at my page: Pet Products. These are the type of items that your vet can discuss with you.

I wish that I could be of more help to you because you certainly appear to have your hands full, but our furry little friends have different ways of reacting to their losses and sometimes need the expertise of a veterinary professional. I wish you well and hope you seek the advice of your vet.
