Comments for Feline virus - how fragile?

Just a quick note - today is April 5, 2015 and Buddy is thriving.

Even though he's been confined to our guest room for these almost five (5) years he is an active happy cat. (My personal beliefs - well I believe in answered prayer is a contributing factor to our experience with Buddy's health, also :) .)

I cannot keep him entertained as much as he needs it but am doing what I am able and I also believe that the two hours each night I spend with him is also a contributing factor in his (Buddy's) good health. He is an absolute joy!

He's been to the Vet one time (April 2014) and that was because a cold virus was making its way through the house and Buddy needed intervention as he also began sneezing, then mouth breathing. The vet took him immediately, gave him fluids, steriods, and convenia antibiotic. Within the next day he was already recovering.

I don't take him to the vet-anything that will likely be a stress producer.

I don't know what tomorrow might bring, but I am thankful for Buddy's good health and thought an update would be interesting to others caring for cats with FeLV. :)
