How do I get it with out taking it to vet
RESPONSE:
I believe this is a prescription drug so a trip to the vet would be required.
It is a branch of the tetracycline drugs. They are typically prescribed to fight infections of the respiratory tract, intestines, sinuses and urinary tract.
The reason for the prescription status is probably because of the possible side effects. It is one of the safer drugs but it still has some potentially life threatening side effects. Many animals are allergic to it and an allergy test is run before giving the drug.
Even the mild side effects can be nausea and vomiting. So, as far as I know, you need the prescription to get the drug.
