cat losing weight

I think I know why my cat is losing weight. We have a hole in our bathroom wall and I caught him eating the drywall paper that is painted. What remedies can I give him.

I just noticed this tonight. I have had him to the vet for a blood test and it came back fine.

He is eating wet and dry food and going pee and poop just fine.

I just don't know what to do now.. Please Help me.

If you cat is eating and using the litter box, then there must be another issue. Some of them are:

Cat Cancer

Cat Liver Disease

Feline Kidney Disease

Diabetes in Cats

There are so many possibilities. that your cat really needs to see the vet for more than a blood test. I assume the blood test was to look for toxins from the paint. He needs a more comprehensive test.

However, weight loss can also happen from something as simple as stress. If he has lost a bit of weight it might not be an issue but over 10% of his body weight is cause for real concern.
