An old injury,, Broken pelvis,,,

My cat (female) is now 12yrs old,,,, she broke her pelvis when she was 2yrs old,,,, she also on SCIENCE DIET for urinary track,,, wet n dry food,,,, I'm noticing that her hip bones are sticking out alil,,,,, could this be from her past injury? Or change of food? She eats well,,



RESPONSE:

Its possible that its from her old injury but if she is losing weight then you have cause for concern and should see the vet.

However, if her weight is stable, she eats well and uses her litter box as normal, then I don't see any reason for worry.
