I want to know what this is. My bf petted my cat on the back and told me to feel something. I felt between his shoulder blades on his spine a bump that is bigger than the other ones going down his spine, should I worry or is this normal? He doesn't act sick and walks and jumps properly or normal and it doesnt hurt him when I touch it.
RESPONSE:
Since your cat is showing no discomfort it's possible there is no reason to worry, however, I would suggest you have your vet take a look at it.
Cats typically have a fairly regular bone structure down their backs. It could be an old injury or the start of a bone problem.
